About the Role: 


We are seeking a highly skilled Braze Marketing Consultant with expertise in customer journey orchestration to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of Braze's customer engagement platform, including its automation, segmentation, and personalization capabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing omnichannel marketing strategies to drive customer engagement, retention, and growth. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Customer Journey Strategy: Develop and optimize multi-step, data-driven customer journeys across email, push notifications, in-app messaging, SMS, and webhooks. 
  • Braze Implementation & Execution: Configure and manage Braze campaigns, ensuring seamless integration with CRM, data warehouses, and other Martech tools. 
  • Audience Segmentation: Leverage Braze's segmentation capabilities to create dynamic, personalized customer cohorts for targeted messaging. 
  • Lifecycle Marketing: Design, execute, and analyze lifecycle marketing programs, including onboarding, engagement, reactivation, and retention campaigns. 
  • A/B Testing & Optimization: Conduct experiments to optimize messaging, timing, and channels to maximize conversion rates and customer lifetime value. 
  • Data-Driven Insights: Monitor campaign performance using Braze analytics, SQL, and other reporting tools to derive actionable insights. 
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and data teams to align customer engagement strategies with business goals. 
  • Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all campaigns adhere to regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA) and follow best practices in email/SMS deliverability. 


Requirements: 

  • Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience with Braze, including campaign setup, segmentation, and customer journey automation. 
  • Marketing Automation Expertise: Strong knowledge of lifecycle marketing, customer segmentation, and engagement strategies. 
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in Braze analytics, A/B testing methodologies, and experience working with SQL, Looker, or similar BI tools. 
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with Braze API integrations, Liquid scripting for personalization, and working with event-based data. 
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, meet deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate strategies and insights to stakeholders. 
  • Preferred: Experience with additional Martech tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Segment, Amplitude, or Google Analytics.
