Exploring the Future of Oracle PeopleSoft at the Special Interest Group (SIG) Event

Oracle PeopleSoft users, consultants, and partners are gearing up for an insightful event at the upcoming PeopleSoft Special Interest Group (SIG) on 20th and 21st February 2025. This gathering serves as a premier platform for professionals to explore the latest advancements, roadmaps, and best practices in PeopleSoft solutions. With specialized sessions across HCM, ERP, and PeopleTools, attendees will gain invaluable insights into the latest enhancements and future developments.

A Deep Dive into PeopleSoft Updates

The HCM track will be led by Russell Broom and Murali Vemaraju, highlighting key features such as Preboarding, Approval Insights, Keyword Search, and Recognition. Participants will also get a sneak peek at upcoming features, including new Dashboards, Workcenters, and PeopleSoft Homepages. Additionally, the session will cover Time & Labor, Absence Management, and Approval Insights Dashboard, which provides insights into financial transaction approvals.

The ERP track, spearheaded by Sudhir Arthanat, will focus on recently delivered features such as Fluid workcenters, Supplier Activity Tracking, Lease Payments, and Oracle Business Network integration. Key discussions will include Virtual Cards for Supplier Payments, Project Costing rate sets, and Batch Update Procurement Contracts, which enable real-time pricing updates for procurement processes.

The PeopleTools session will feature the latest updates on PeopleSoft Search, Cloud Manager Image 19, Smart Prompts, and Notification Reporting. A highlight of this track is a discussion on container support for PeopleSoft using Kubernetes and OKE, which allows seamless provisioning and patching. Additionally, Graham Smith, Oracle ACE Director, will present a session on Synthetic Monitoring within OCI, covering how it improves application performance and observability.
